Shannon Garraway-Emery

Owner

Shannon joined Lifestyle Equipment in 1995 and has an extensive background in health and fitness. Shannon has earned her personal training and weight trainer certificate, as well as has a certificate in Nutrition from Douglas College.

Shannon’s passion for the industry brought her first club ownership experience in 2005. In the years to follow she would learn the full aspects of club operations; and most importantly customer service and leadership. The later two traits continue to be the foundation of her commitment to Lifestyle Equipment and its’ clients. Although no longer a club owner Shannon continues to consult for facilities across the province. Relationship building, trust and reliability are the things she strives for in both business and day to day life.

When not working you will find her in a Pilates class or outside on the trails continuing her belief in embracing each day.

Laura Jeary

Account Manager

Laura Jeary brings extensive fitness industry experience from university and health club management. Her strengths include facility management, marketing, programming, sales, and facility design and layout. Laura is highly experienced in commercial equipment purchasing, installation, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs. Her understanding of facility user needs and industry trends makes her a valuable recourses for studios, health clubs, and commercial facilities. When not working, Laura enjoys the gym, outdoor activities, photography, and reading.

Laverne Da Silva

Operations and Service Manager

With a warm and approachable personality, she is often the first point of contact for Lifestyle Equipment clients and plays a central role in the day-to-day operations of the business. She oversees the service division, coordinating and scheduling service calls, responding to client inquiries, and providing clear, timely support to customers. Highly organized and solutions-focused, she ensures every interaction is handled efficiently and with care. Her commitment to service excellence helps create a seamless client experience, building trust and confidence while reinforcing Lifestyle Equipment’s reputation for reliability and responsiveness.

Malik Garraway

Marketing Development Manager

Malik Garraway is a personal trainer and aspiring nutrition coach bringing experience, creativity, and energy to Lifestyle Equipment. As one half of DJ duo Rose Motion, he’s also a musician, songwriter, and modern lifestyle influencer, blending his passion for music, wellness, and movement.

A lifelong athlete in sports like basketball and soccer, Malik discovered the positive mental and physical impact of fitness early on. Known for his calm, supportive energy, he helps clients reach goals, improve mental health, and make lasting lifestyle changes. Representing the future of Lifestyle Equipment, he shapes how clients experience fitness and wellness.
