Lifestyle Equipment provides a full range of new and used fitness equipment. Locally owned and operated with our headquarters in Delta, we have made it our personal mission to make quality fitness equipment easily available to all of B.C., and beyond. Our areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: commercial clubs, sports & recreation centers, hotels, schools and strata buildings.

It is our goal to build lasting relationships with our customers. Therefore, we strongly believe in preventative maintenance for all new and used equipment and have a variety of programs to implement this. Our team of technicians are all factory certified by the top manufacturers in the industry.

In today’s market we understand the benefits facilities can gain from leasing equipment. That is why we have chosen to partner with key local companies to design customized leasing programs, to match our client’s needs.

Shannon Garraway, Owner and COO

Shannon joined Lifestyle Equipment in 1995 and has an extensive background in health and fitness. Shannon has earned her personal training and weight trainer certificate, as well as has a certificate in Nutrition from Douglas College.

Shannon’s passion for the industry brought her first club ownership experience in 2005. In the years to follow she would learn the full aspects of club operations; and most importantly customer service and leadership. The later two traits continue to be the foundation of her commitment to Lifestyle Equipment and its’ clients. Although no longer a club owner Shannon continues to consult for facilities across the province. Relationship building, trust and reliability are the things she strives for in both business and day to day life.

When not working you will find her in a hot yoga & fitness class or outside on the trails continuing her belief in embracing each day.

Mike Hamill, Owner and CEO

Mike lifelong dedication to fitness started at a young age with the opening of his first fitness centre at the age of 24.

In Mike’s youth he won several major competitions including BC Wrestling championship, Power lifting championship, Bodybuilding championship for BC, making him Mr. Vancouver and BC’s Karate championship. His diversity has made him a master in the industry.

Mike’s experience made him a sought after trainer for many years. His training extends well beyond the celebrities, which have included Tom Berenger and Clint Eastwood. His expertise was also called upon in developing the fitness centers and personal training centers for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

In June 2017, Mike suffered a major physical setback while on a chartered fishing excursion. As he learns to adjust to a new life as a paraplegic he also shows the grit & determination that have brought him this far. You will find him devoting his resources to the Exoskeleton project, which in time, will take those out of wheelchairs into walking.

Laura Jeary, Account Manager

Laura Jeary has an extensive background in the fitness industry. Having established herself in both university and health club management her strengths range from facility management, marketing, programming & sales to facility design & layout. Laura has a depth of experience in commercial equipment purchasing, installations, equipment repairs and preventative maintenance programs. Her experience with the needs of facility users & industry trends makes her knowledge an asset to studios, health clubs & all facilities.

When not working you will find her at the gym, enjoying the outdoors, photography or reading a good book.

Dave Hutchison, Account Manager

In 1996, Mike and Shannon hired Dave Hutchison, a young and energetic fitness and sales enthusiast. Now with 21 years of experience in the industry (20 years with Lifestyle Equipment) Dave is know province wide for his honesty, integrity and hard working attitude. With a belief that it’s not just about the sale, he goes out of his way to take care of his customers! Dave has both strong fitness knowledge and a business background. He spent 15 years racing road bikes in Ontario and BC and has owned two other businesses giving him valuable real-life experiences to share with his customers. With a passion for the fitness industry, his goal is to continue to serve customers across BC for as long as possible.
